User Experience Specialist: New York, NY

ARTstor is seeking a User Experience Specialist who will work on new development initiatives and platform enhancements for ARTstor — a digital image library of nearly one million images used for research and educational purposes at ARTstor-participating institutions worldwide. As a key member of the User Services team, the Specialist will work actively in cross-unit functional groups to gather requirements, specify, document, develop, and prototype ARTstor online environments including the ARTstor public website, the ARTstor digital library, ARTstor communication vehicles in electronic formats (currently the ARTstor blog and wiki), and others as they evolve over time.

ARTstor Internship Program

ARTstor internships are individually designed to meet the interests of the intern and the goals and needs of ARTstor. Opportunities are available to work with a number of ARTstor professional teams including: User Services, Library Relations, Collection Development, Legal, Operations, and Metadata.

Criteria Current or recently graduated students of library or information science, art history or other liberal studies graduate programs.
Availability ARTstor internships are available throughout the year including fall, spring, and summer terms.
